The Still Index collects field notes, audio, writing, and other observational pieces based on everyday environments and other shared public spaces. It is created by a small team of neurodivergent people who spend a lot of time navigating these same kinds of environments.

We’re currently in Season One: the Public Spaces Collection. New written and audio field notes appear weekly, each one built around a different everyday environment.
Weekly Fiction
We will be serialising a novel written by one of our team, chapters released weekly. It follows an autistic woman from adolescence to the present day, tracing the years before her diagnosis and the different shape her life takes after it. Less a record of symptoms than an account of a mind working out, over time, how to live in a world not built with it in mind.
